Project girl group WJMK communicated with its fans in a “LieV” broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

A “LieV” is a broadcast that celebrities host while lying down.

In the broadcast, the four WJMK bandmates talked about their worries when they first got together.

“As I’m the oldest in the group, I was worried a lot about how I should start conversations and how I should make others feel comfortable but now we’ve become comfortable with each other,” Seola said.

“We met for the first time when we were recording but we didn’t say a word,” she said. “I said I was going to get Doyeon’s phone number but I couldn’t even see her face but now we got a group chat and Yoojung and Luda even went out together.”

They said they are the type of people who are shy at first, but now they can hold a broadcast while lying down ? proving how close they are.

WJMK consists of Seola and Luda of girl group WJSN and Yoojung and Doyeon of girl group Weki Meki. It released its single “Strong” Friday.

The 13-piece act WJSN, also widely known as Cosmic Girls, debuted in 2016 with the EP “Would You Like?” Weki Meki debuted in August last year as an eight-piece act with the EP “WEME,” fronted by the lead track “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend.”

In the broadcast, the group expressed its gratefulness to the fans saying they have experienced a lot of things in the year.

“Thank you for supporting us even during our break,” they said while also vowing to work harder.

During the broadcast, they also made a surprise announcement that they will release a new album in late June. They also revealed that the teaser image will be released at midnight Thursday.

When asked to imagine themselves in 10 years, they said they would work worldwide riding on private planes. “Even if we disband, even when we become 50, 60 years old, we will meet every June 1,” they added.

The video played audio samples from the album, which consists of six songs including its lead track “Complete,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Good Morning,” “Fifty Fifty,” “Incomplete” and “86400.”

The new album will mark the group’s first release in 10 months as a whole group since it released its first mini album “ON/OFF” in August last year.

The seven-member act ONF consists of Hyojin, E-tion, J-Us, Wyatt, MK, U and Laun.

They recently appeared on JTBC’s idol competition show “Mix Nine” which featured Yang, CEO of YG Entertainment, visiting entertainment agencies around the country to look for new talent. Its members Hyojin and Laun succeeded in securing their spots in the final group to debut but the expected debut has faced a setback, YG Entertainment announced on May 3.
