Karaoke slot machines are booming among young people in Korea. The machine lets you sing a song or two for about 300 won (28 cents) or 500 won.
At the beginning of the broadcast, the BooSeokSoon bandmates received a mission that they have to get full marks of 100 on their favorite songs, to promote the group’s upcoming new track “Just Do It.”
The trio seemed to be frustrated by the mission at first but Seungkwan said, “It is important to enjoy in karaoke rather than focus on scores.”
DK, Seungkwan and Hoshi sang Dean’s “D,” Ailee’s “I Will Show You” and Park Won’s “All of My Life.” However, none of them got full marks.
After the failures, lowered their ambitions, with a target score of 60, and sang JYP’s “Swing Baby.” This time, they succeeded with the score of 85.
“Just Do It” is scheduled to be released on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

While An, who stayed active in entertainment after the disbandment of the group in 2001, was accustomed to the real-time broadcasting app, Lee seemed to be puzzled by the new system.
“In our day, we didn’t have this kind of system. (Now) many fans overseas are making comments. I wonder whether we even had Internet when we promoted in China,” An said.
“Our fans are also people from old times. There were fans who have difficulties installing V app,” Lee said. “They asked me (how to install it) via comments on social media. It had not been so long since they installed social media either. I felt bad.”
“I think this is a good way of communicating with fans,” he added.
An and Lee will hold two more live broadcasts on March 31 and April 7.
Hui and Shinwon of Pentagon
Shinwon of Pentagon expressed his thoughts on walking down the runway in a live radio broadcast on Naver’s V app Saturday.
When asked whether he prepared a lot for the show he said, “Well I did prepare a lot. I’ve been preparing for it since a long time ago. I was always prepared for it but as I am actually going to do it (tomorrow), I feel a bit nervous.”
He also talked about his bandmates Yanan and E’Dwan who appeared on the catwalk previously on the day.
“They did well,” he said.
“Actually E’Dwan worried about it a lot,” Hui said. “Compared to other tall bandmates, E’Dwan didn’t have a strong desire or goal for the catwalk. So he was worried ‘Is it really OK if I walk it?’ but I think he did really well.”
When a fan suggested Hui to walk on the runway, he refused, saying he has bad gait.
“Also on stages, when I walk out, I was often scolded,” he said. “I wanted to change it but it was difficult.”
Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
