“I am very happy as fans gave us love and the award. I hope to meet you more often. We will meet you with various content and communication,” Yuju said.
Looking back on last year, Umji said, “We have released seven albums but there were many things that we tried for the first time, so it felt as if we went back to the first time.”
In 2017, the group released three albums -- “The Awakening,” “Parallel” and “Rainbow,” which feature “Fingertip,” “Love Whisper” and “Summer Rain” as lead tracks, respectively.
In the broadcast, Yerin also hinted at the group’s new album. “I know many fans are wondering when we will release our new album. We are having a cold wave at the moment so see you when it’s warm.”
The group will embark on its Asia tour “Season of GFriend” on Feb. 28 in Taiwan and visit countries such as Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
