K-pop boy band GOT7 greeted its fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday while showing only showing socks to the camera.

The socks had the faces of the characters which represent each member. Each member waved their foot while talking.

Though they complained that “it felt as if I got a cramp in my feet,” they said they had to keep how their makeup and hair were done as secret as they were going to be in a fan meeting event soon.

“You know we got new hair styles and makeup. You saw the articles on our come back right? So we want to surprise you later. That’s why we have to be on broadcast with our socks,” Youngjae explained.

JYP Entertainment said Monday that the group is currently filming the music video for the new song while the exact release date has not yet been decided.

GOT7 held its fan meeting event “IGOT7 Research” at Kyung Hee University Grand Peace Palace on Saturday and Sunday in celebration of the group’s four year anniversary.
