DK and Hoshi of Seventeen took to the V app Friday to introduce their new merchandise released for the group’s fan meeting event “Seventeen in Carat Land.”

“Today, the second series of Seventeen’s fan meeting begins,” Hoshi said, opening up the broadcast.

“You know at a fan meeting, fans can buy goods. We also got some of the merchandise so we wanted to introduce them,” he said.

They introduced the cheering stick, its miniature, a plastic file, a pouch, trading cards, a pen with a snow ball, stickers, a towel and a green hoodie, which appeared in the group’s music video.

Most of the products came in two colors ? rose quartz and serenity ? which represent the group. “It’s like a rose quartz and serenity party,” Hoshi said.

After introducing them one by one, DK said, “There are so many pretty stuff, so I hope you like them and cherish them.”

Filipino-American singer Kriesha Chu communicated with fans in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Friday.

During the broadcast, she was asked about the MBN variety show on which she appeared. The show aired earlier in the day.

She said, “And in the show, I skated. I expected a lot but I was rather nervous. It was more awkward than expected.”

During Friday’s broadcast, she also promoted her new song “Sunset Dream.”

“At midnight today, I will release the choreography video of a song from my first mini album ‘Sunset Dream.’ Don’t go to bed too early. Please expect it a lot,” she said.

Chu recently released her first mini album “Dream of Paradise.” The album features the lead track “Like Paradise,” produced by Hui of boy band Pentagon and the producer team Flow Blow.

Trot singer Hong Jin-young showed confidence in her upcoming new album “Good Bye” (literal translation) in the latest episode of her reality show aired on Naver’s V app Friday.

The episode featured the singer recording for the new album.

“This album is the diametrical opposite of the albums I have released before,” Hong said. “It’s 200 percent trot-style that will make your shoulders move up and down.”

“To talk about the difference, the melody is very exciting but it feels somewhat heartbreaking. You will feel that it is fresh as you can feel a sad feeling,” she said.

“I am 200 percent satisfied (with the new album). I finished the recording with a good mood. I will show you a totally different look,” the singer said.

Hong’s new album will be released ¬Wednesday at 6 p.m.
