When asked about how she felt watching the “Candy Pop” music video for the first time, she said, “It was our first animated music video. It was very cool and very cute. It was very cool that they made our characters for the first time. I loved it.”
“So I showed the music video to my mother several times and my mom kept asking me to show her (the music video),” she said.
“I seldom put my hair in pigtails when I perform on stage but I did in the music video. My mom really liked it. She said, ‘You look good with the pigtails. You look so cute,’” she said.
In the broadcast, she also introduced the fans to the comic book for the track. “I think they did a great job making the characters which fit our real characters,” she said.
Twice is currently on its “Twice Showcase Live Tour 2018 -- Candy Pop,” which kicked off at Aichi Arts Center in Nagoya on Friday. The tour will visit a total of six cities in Japan.
