Boy band NCT U revealed a story about its upcoming track in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

“Tende…” (unofficial translation) is the latest edition of S.M. Entertainment’s weekly music project “SM Station,” under which a new track has been released every Friday since March 2017.

“It is the song that we sang before we debuted, even before we became (S.M.) Rookies,” they said.

“We recorded it when I first came in, that song is finally coming out! I’m so glad,” Doyoung said.

SM Rookies is a pre-debut program by S.M. Entertainment.

Jaehyun said, “If only you like it,” making a wordplay with the title of the song. In Korean, “Tende” means “if only.”

“Actually ‘Tende…’ is a short title but it will have a huge impact,” he added.

The new track is scheduled to be released Friday at 6 p.m.

Kriesha Chu

Kriesha Chu revealed a behind-the-scenes clip of her birthday party in a reality show “ChuPop Chu’s” on Naver’s V app Tuesday.

The singer celebrated her birthday, which fell on Dec. 20, with a surprise party prepared by her family.

The video showed her sister and brother blowing up balloons and writing birthday cards.

Kriesha Chu was moved to tears upon seeing the surprise gift from her younger siblings.

“Through ‘ChuPop Chu’s,’ (we) will show the charm of Kriesha Chu by releasing behind-the-scenes footage for (events) such as her showcase or first television performance,” Chu’s agency said.

Chu released her first EP “Dream of Paradise” on Wednesday. The album features the lead track “Like Paradise,” written by Hui of boy band Pentagon.

The singer’s reality show “ChuPop Chu’s” will be released every Tuesday at midnight.

Momoland

JooE of girl group Momoland made viewers laugh with a sudden, unexpected action during a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

In the broadcast featuring Momoland bandmates, JooE suddenly disappeared from the scene. Then the members started to laugh.

Viewers soon found out why: JooE was working out on the floor with sports equipment.

“Just do the V app (broadcast),” she said, asking the others not to care about her.

Then she acted as if she was eating the black equipment like kimbap (seaweed rice rolls).

Momoland debuted in November as a seven-piece group -- consisting of JooE, Jane, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Nayun, Hyebin and Nancy -- with the EP
“Welcome to Momoland” through Mnet’s K-pop audition program “Finding Momoland.”

Ahead of its release of “Wonderful Love” in April last year, the group welcomed Daisy, who had lost in the final round of the show, and Kim Tae-ha, who appeared on another Mnet K-pop audition program, “Produce 101,” as a trainee of Starship Entertainment.

Momoland recently released its third EP “Great!” which features the lead track “Bboom Bboom.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
