Rookie boy band Stray Kids revealed its ambition for the year-end award in a live broadcast held via Naver‘s V app Monday.

In the broadcast, Seo Chang-bin said, “We are going to work hard this year and I do wish to get the Rookie of the Year award.”

“It is just a beginning for Stray Kids. We have a lot we want to show you from now on,” Bang Chan said. “We’ll become a group which writes history in the 21st century. I also hope to get the Rookie of the Year award.”

Nine-member group Stray Kids is a boy band that debuted through the Mnet competition show of the same name. The band is JYP Entertainment’s first K-pop band project since “Sixteen” in 2015.

The group released its pre-debut album “Mixtape” on Monday at noon.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
