Yugyeom of boy band GOT7 showed off his cooking skills in a live broadcast on Naver’s V app Sunday.

“You know there are three main desires in humans and one of those desires is (to have an) appetite. (So) I am going to eat my favorite dish today -- fried rice. And I will cook it,” he said opening up the broadcast.

“I will say this beforehand. I don’t cook well. I’ve never cooked anything before,” the singer said timidly.

However, he proved himself to be a good cook, surprising even himself.

While cooking, he played BTS’ “DNA,” Seventeen’s “Clap” and Red Velvet’s “Peek-A-Boo,” and danced to those songs.

After the dishes were done, he ate with his manager.

When the manager expressed slight dissatisfaction with the dish, as it was not seasoned to his taste, a fan commented, “Being his manager is an extreme job.”

Yugyeom, who was a bit miffed at the comment, said, “Wow my pride has been hurt. It’s not that bad! You didn’t try it!”

The manager also agreed that the food was indeed tasty.
