Actor Ryu Jun-yeol updated his fans on how's he's been and his upcoming plans via a live Naver V app broadcast Friday.

“I don’t have anything to film at the moment so I’m glad that I have many chances to meet you like this,” he said.

During the broadcast Ryu revealed what he had been up to recently.

“As you all know, I recently went on a soccer trip to Europe. I visited England and Spain,” he said. “It was my first time visiting Spain but it was not as cold as England and the people were really kind. I loved it.”

He also revealed his upcoming plans. “Since I debuted I’ve been supporting Compassion. I will soon leave for Kenya in Africa to visit education center,” he said. “It is important to let them eat good food but it is also important for children to get an education and have dreams.”

He also asked for fans’ help for the upcoming trip. “I have experience of teaching elementary school students but (this time) I have to play with children from different age groups. I want to talk about how I should do it,” he said.

Boy band Astro talked about its performances in year-end awards ceremonies and its upcoming plan for the New Year in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

In the broadcast, MJ suggested 2017 MBC Gayo Daejejeon as the most memorable year-end awards in which the group performed while its fans, called “Aroha,” held up colored cards to make words such as “Astro,” “Heart (Love) You” and “Forever.”

“It became a beautiful performance as our Aroha did great job,” MJ said. “I cannot forget the last ‘Forever.’”

Cha Eun-woo also picked the MBC’s awards ceremony as he hosted the show alongside Yoona of Girls’ Generation and Suho of EXO.

“I was the MC. As I was with great seniors, I was so nervous that I missed my bandmates,” he said.

Jin Jin picked 2017 Asia Artist Awards as the most memorable one. “It was most memorable that I wept aloud,” he said.

During the broadcast, the group also excited fans as Moonbin revealed that the group “will start the new year with a new album.”

OG School Project, consisting of “rap geniuses” Jo Woo-chan, Park Hyun-jin and Achillo, talked about their first impressions of each other in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

Jo appeared on the sixth season of Mnet’s survival hip-hop audition program “Show Me the Money” and made it to the semifinal.

Park appeared on the sixth season of SBS’ survival audition show “K-pop Star” as a member of the duo Boyfriend and won the season.

Though there was not much known about rapper Achillo, the collaboration of the three caught the public’s attention for the group being the youngest hip-hop group in Korea, formed with those who were born in 2005. The group is produced by the veteran producer Groovyroom.

“I saw Hyun-jin a lot in ‘K-pop Star’ so I expected a lot. I wondered what he’s really like as I saw him only on TV,” Jo said. “I was worried at first as they were all good at rap but I guess it made me work hard. I think the result is good because all three of us worked hard.”

“At first, as it was my first time rapping with people from my age I was excited. I was curious and expected a lot,” Park said. “I thought Woo-chan had a low-tonned voice when I watched him on ‘Show Me the Money’ and it was interesting that his voice was even lower when I met him. Achillo’s flow is very flowery that it gives me goose bumps.”

“I was excited that I was going to meet two celebrities,” Achillo said. “At first, Hyun-jin looked same as the one I saw on television so I felt like I was watching TV but now he’s like my friend. I also felt like I was watching TV when I saw Woo-chan but now he feels like a friend on my neighborhood.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
