Veteran actress Youn Yuh-jung revealed her first impression of actor Park Seo-joon in a live broadcast to promote the second season of tvN’s upcoming variety show “Youn’s Kitchen,” via Naver’s V app Thursday.

“I don’t watch public TV networks. It was my first time seeing Park Seo-joon,” Youn said. “So when Park Seo-joon appeared, I asked, ‘Is he popular?’”

“But I didn’t judge him on his appearance. I have experience where I incorrectly judged people based on appearance,” she said.

Park joined the cast as an intern server to replace actor Shin Goo, who appeared as a server at the restaurant but could not participate in the second season due to overseas commitments to perform in a play.

“Youn’s Kitchen” shows the cast, headed by Youn, opening a small Korean restaurant on an island. The first season drew 14.7 percent viewership ratings at its peak.

The first episode of the second season is set to air Friday at 9:50 p.m.
