Kim Jae-joong’s first V app video of 2018 is a behind-the-scenes clip of the day he dressed up as a doll for charity.

On Christmas Eve, Kim took part in a fundraiser for the Salvation Army in Daegu where he gave free hugs to unsuspecting fans.

The belatedly revealed video shows Kim wriggling in to the giant brown bear doll costume and trying to run in it.

Kim first lets out a gasp upon seeing the giant stuffed bear laid out on a hotel bed before he eagerly climbs into it.

“This is so well made, I want to keep it,” said Kim.

Once he was inside the doll, Kim grew nervous for his loss of peripheral vision.

“I really need someone to hold my hand and guide my way,” Kim said. “There’s no way I’d be able to dance in this.”

Both children and grown-ups loved the bear doll and took pictures with it, without knowing it was the K-pop celebrity Kim Jae-joong who was inside it.

Once the event was over, staff helped Kim take off the head of the costume which revealed Kim’s sweat-covered face, despite it being winter.

“It was fun,” said the drained Kim.

The video ended with a caption which read: “Thank you for helping (Kim) make meaningful memories.”
