Behind-the-scenes footage of Monsta X’s music video shoot was revealed on Naver’s V app Tuesday.

The K-pop group recently shot the music video for its new single “Dramarama.”

The shoot involved action and stunts, including a car chase and a kendo -- Japanese martial art -- duel scene.

Jooheon struggled to pull off decent acting in a special car that was rotating 360 degrees. “Those expressions I made inside the car, they are my actual reactions,” he said, looking at his contorted face in the resulting footage.

Meanwhile, Shownu and Wonho rehearsed for the kendo scene. “It’s my first time at a kendo gym, and first time wearing these clothes and holding a bamboo sword,” said Shownu. The two novices, however, pulled off a convincing duel after only three hours of practice.

Wonho was then seen trapped in a room by himself. He said that in this scene, he had jumped into the future, leaving Shownu behind in the past. Trapped in a chair, Wonho struggled to escape from secret agents.

He wrapped up the broadcast by asking viewers to look forward to the actual music video.
