BTS’ J-hope aired a live V app show Friday from a hotel room in the US. He shared his impression of the US programs he had appeared on with BTS. The video raked in more than 11 million hearts within 30 minutes.

“We met James Corden and recorded for the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ I watch these shows on YouTube, and it was so special to be featured as a guest,” J-hope said.

“It’s going to be more special once I return to Korea and watch the shows on TV.”

“It’s amazing that with a touch of a button the whole world opens up to talk,” said J-hope, surprised at the surge of fans watching his live broadcast. “Indonesia, Russia, Canada, Mexico, Argentina ... from the other side of the globe.”

J-hope expressed surprise at fans leaving messages for him. He appeared smug about compliments on his airport fashion. “I’m beginning to develop a special liking for fashionable clothes,” he said, showing off his geeky T-shirts and shocking red hair.

He also showed fans a book he was reading, “Living Loving and Learning” by Leo Buscaglia.

J-hope went on to say that he likes the new BTS song “MIC Drop” for its old-school hip-hop genre and dance moves.

“There are so many dance moves to dance in this world,” said J-hope. “I really want to invest more of my time to learn more dance moves.”
