Rookie K-pop duo Hyeongseop X Euiwoong talked about the first seven days since their debut while lying in bed during a broadcast livestreamed on Naver’s V app Monday.

The two shared the excitement and anxiety they had felt in their first week onstage as a duo.

They had once competed against each other as contestants on the K-pop audition show “Produce 101,” but have now teamed up as a duo, releasing their inaugural EP “It Will Be Good” last week.

Hyeongseop brought up his nerve-racking experience during their debut performance. “Given the amount of preparation we had done, I thought I wouldn’t be feeling that nervous onstage, but it didn’t turn out that way,” he said.

On the other hand, Euiwoong said the performance was not that nerve-racking for him. He had felt more nervous at their first meet and greet with fans.

The duo also revealed the creative agony that had gone into the lyrics of the new song. “We came up with the lyrics in a relatively short time, we would keep thinking about it on bus rides (in between performances).” Euiwoong said.

They wrapped up the broadcast by playing their music as a lullaby for viewers.
