A clip of the recording session for “Hey Bae,” a new single by solo artist Junggigo, was released on Naver’s V app Friday.

Junggigo and rapper Palo Alto, who is also featured in the single, appeared in the three-minute video.

They said they have known each other since before they entered the mainstream music scene, but had not teamed up for a song for a few years.

“Hey Bae” is about a man hitting it off with an attractive woman at first sight.

Palo Alto said in the clip that he wrote the rap part of the lyrics himself, adding that he had not had such a romantic encounter with a woman for a long time.

“So I took reference from some stories that I heard from others (while writing the lyrics),” the rapper said, drawing laughter from Junggigo.
