Bastarz, the three-member sub-unit of the boy band Block B, released a teaser trailer for the music video of the title track “Make It Rain” from its upcoming mini album “Welcome 2 Bastarz.”

The short clip takes place at night, revealing the trio’s dark side.

It is difficult to decipher the exact storyline behind the music video. While one scene shows the members in a casino, another shows them at a dimly lit funeral with one of the members lying on top of a white casket.

Consisting of P.O, U-Kwon and B-Bomb, Block B’s first sub-unit debuted with its first EP “Zero for Conduct” last year.

The five-track album “Welcome 2 Bastarz” will be available on local music sites from Oct. 31.

VIXX

Also returning to the spotlight next week is VIXX.

The boy band unveiled a teaser video of the title track “The Closer” from its upcoming album “Kratos,” the final release of the group’s yearlong trilogy project “VIXX 2016 Conception.”

The trailer starts with the members frozen in time, with one member hanging in mid-air, and another just moments after a car crash. The video also boasts powerful dance moves typically expected from VIXX.

The clip concludes with a chandelier shattering on the ground.

The boy band’s third mini album “Kratos,” inspired by the god of war from Greek mythology, will be released on local music sites on Oct. 31.

Meanwhile the members are also gearing up for its upcoming showcase, taking place at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on the same day at 8 p.m.

Solar of girl group Mamamoo took to V Live to respond to reactions from fans regarding her latest teaser image with member Wheein for the group’s upcoming mini album “Memory.”

Released on Wednesday, the image features the two members dressed in similar red dresses. They are positioned in a way that makes them appear as a mirror image of each other.

“Some fans have said that the outfit looks like gochujang,” Solar said, referring to Korean chili paste. “There has been a lot of reaction (to the photo), and I am grateful for that.”

“Will you be performing covered in gochujang?” asked a fan.

“If that’s what you want, I can do that,” the singer responded, to which many fans expressed their opposition to the idea.

“Everybody, gochujang is delicious,” she continued. “Don’t hate it too much.”

A fan asked, “What can I eat to become pretty? Gochujang?”

“Let’s not get too carried away with it,” Solar said. “The outfit is very beautiful in real life, don’t be too disappointed.”

Mamamoo’s fourth EP “Memory” will be released on local music sites on Nov. 7.
