Twice

Twice members Mina and Chaeyoung started their Naver V show before throwing the first pitch for Korean baseball team LG Twins for the postseason match Sunday.

The first pitch by Mina took place at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in southern Seoul to celebrate the fourth semi playoff match between LG Twins, the home team, and Nexen Heroes.

Mina said she was nervous about throwing the pitch, while Chaeyoung, who was to stand at the batter‘s box, did not feel as anxious.

“Don’t throw a bean ball at me, though,” Chaeyoung told Mina.

Both were worried as it drizzled outside Sunday afternoon.

“It did not rain until we left the dormitory,” Mina said. “As soon as we hit the road, it started raining.”

The first pitch and the match, however, started as normal.

They said the two were the only Twice members who visited the stadium.

The two paused the V show briefly to rehearse the first pitch before answering questions from viewers. They were frequently asked to reveal part of “TT,” the lead track of Twice’s new album to be released on Oct. 24. In response, members made a “TT” sign using both hands by opening thumbs and index fingers 90 degrees and stretching index fingers downward, saying the gesture is “such a spoiler.”

Chaeyoung said her bandmates felt her voice changed in the new song.

The third part of the clip featured Mina successfully pitching the first ball for LG Twins, wowing the throng of spectators in the ball park. LG Twins defeated Nexen Heroes 4-1 Sunday, leaving only one game ahead of advancing to the next round.

Infinite

Boy band Infinite members Saturday played basketball with managers in an outdoor basketball court.

Woohyun, who held the camera, said his team, made up of himself and fellow Infinite members Sungyeol and Sungkyu, defeated the team of managers in a three-on-three match before the Naver V app show kicked off. He showed the beverage bottles they won as prizes.

Still, Infinite members were not confident with their basketball skills.

“We are not good at basketball, but we will never give up,” said Sungyeol and Sungkyu.

As the second half of the game began, it was agreed that the last one to score a free throw would receive a forehead beating. One of the managers lost the game and was beaten on the forehead by three Infinite members and two managers.

The second part of the clip featured the same six people playing “One Bound.” In this variation of basketball, a player throws the ball at the point where the previous player’s ball bounced off the rim and lands on the ground a second time. However, members stopped the game as few of them were able to score.

NCT Dream

The fourth clip from rookie boy band NCT Dream on hoverboards was released through Naver V app Sunday.

The 30-second-long clip, dubbed “NCT Dream Hoverboard Freestyle” featured the dynamic choreographies of the seven members mounted on hoverboards in a dance practice room, while going around obstacles in the middle.
