The broadcast took place at night, with some managing staff accompanying him.
Kim said it was his second time visiting the central area of the capital, following his first visit as a high school student.
“I’m (studying) in Georgetown University, enjoying the breeze,” he said. “Right now, I am at National Mall.”
The party looked at memorials there, including the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.

The live show ended at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, where Kim revealed his plans for a concert in Korea at the end of this year and a tour next summer.
