Male soloist Hwang Chi-yeol greeted fans on Thursday’s V app broadcast while waiting for a photo shoot.

Hwang started the show worrying about the fans getting hurt by the typhoon that hit the southern part of Korea on Wednesday.

He then moved on to talk about his new song which he revealed was a collaboration with a female idol, GFriend’s Eunha.

When asked about his life in China, he said he became a father in one show. “Some people ask me if I had a hidden child (when I don’t).”

He stars in the Chinese version of “Dad, Where Are You Going,” which was a popular show that broadcast on MBC from 2014 to 2015. In the Korean version, real fathers came on the show with their children. On the Chinese show, Hwang would be parenting a Chinese child in to experience parenting.

China’s Hunan TV’s online platform Mango TV broadcast the first episode of the Chinese show on Friday.

“I’m appearing on the show as a daddy, and I am building a close relationship with the child as well. The child is 5 years old, very cute and smart,” he said.

“One thing that is difficult is our language difference. So it is sometimes a bit hard to communicate, but I try my best to spend good time with the child,” he added.

The 35-year-old vocalist is actively building his career in China after gaining popularity in a singing competition program of “I Am a Singer” and other various reality shows in China.

K-pop boy group GOT7 thanked fans in a V live broadcast Thursday after ranking first in Mnet’s music program, “M Countdown!” with their song “Hard Carry.”

“We prepared the album, putting our best efforts,” Jackson said. “Don’t think what you guys are doing for us is taken for granted, we really appreciate it.”

“Indeed, it was your love and attention for us that led to this result. This trophy is yours,” Bambam said, handing the trophy toward the camera.

Yugyeom promised that they would not disappoint their fans and work hard.

Male actor Ryu Jun-yeol released the behind-the-scene video of his birthday event in Thursday’s line of V app broadcast.

Ryu turned 31 on Sept. 25 and had a birthday party with his fans in Grand Peace Palace of Kyung Hee University in Seoul. He had his first drama concert in March there with fellow casts there after tvN’s “Reply 1988” ended. The actor gained big popularity after the drama.

He sang “My person,” by Kim Dong-yul for the fans.

The clip showed several moments in which he seemed to be so touched that he could not speak.

The actor donated 19,860,925 won to a charity that supports children without family, celebrating his birth date.
