VIXX member Ravi on Wednesday unveiled his exuberant musical talent as a professional producer via Naver’s V app.

The 23-year-old rapper and producer showed up at a music studio, where he usually spends most of his days and hosted a live broadcast entitled “Beats by Ravi.”

“Who Are You,” one of the artist’s mixtape tracks, is a song that he crafted featuring some real highlights from his music.

“I did it all by myself,” he said. “I get some help from time to time when producing, but (for today) I’d like to have you guys understand what I’m trying to say through music of my own making.”

Ravi has gone on to produce various music through VIXX albums and mixtapes, while enriching himself in the process.

“It’s been five years since I first made a beat on my own,” he said. “Before my debut, that’s when I was a trainee here, I made a beat on my laptop. Then I started making a melody. This process got me interested in arranging some pieces of music for mixtapes. I studied alone,” he told fans.

He seemed to enjoy crating more challenging musical excursions as he surprised V app viewers by superbly arranging the track, “Who Are You,” and writing brand new music under the theme of V app in an instant.

Fans, fascinated by the performance, kept posting comments on the V app chatroom asking him to play a yet-to-be-released track, “Home Alone.”

In response to the fervent request, the rapper-producer came out with a powerful highlight of the song and raised their expectations.

“The album is still on the way,” he said, adding that he also hopes to perform the entire tracklist in front of the audience.
