Actor Ryu Jun-yeol reminded fans of family love while celebrating his 30th birthday Sunday on a Naver V App live show.

Ryu shared that he went home at dinnertime Saturday to spend some time with his family, which he deemed a “special occasion.”

“My hectic schedule does not allow me to visit my family,” he said. “The time with my family allowed me to think more about them.”

He added that he enjoyed watching the episode of “Infinite Challenge,” but he regretted turning on the television instead of having a deeper conversation with his family.

“I recommend you turn off TV while having dinner with your family,” he said.

When asked about the birthday gift he wishes the best from fans, he said it would be acts of “giving presents to the fans‘ respective parents” instead of ones to him on his birthday and sharing the pictures of them on social networks.

Ryu also wished “Reply 1988” members -- actors Park Bo-gum, Lee Dong-hwi, Go Kyung-pyo among others -- to perform at their best in the ongoing or upcoming TV series featuring them. Moreover, Ryu revealed that he went out with Lee Hye-ri, who acted his crush in “Reply 1988,” to play bowling several times and indicated that Hyeri has improved a lot.
