Tuning in from the band’s recording studio, the “time slip” singing gals of The Barberettes joined Saturday’s weekend line-up, counting down the days to the release of its upcoming second studio album.

The female doo-wop musical trio is one of the fastest rising nonmainstream groups in the Korean music industry today. In celebration of their return to the spotlight, the ladies introduced themselves to Naver V app fans for the first time.

The members divulged that their upcoming album was produced by Stuart Zender, known for being an original member and co-producer of Jamiroquai as well as a coproducer for the late Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson.

“We played in the UK at ‘The Great Escape’ festival and that’s how we were introduced to the producer as well as other great artists and that’s how we came to collaborate and make our new album,” said one of the members.

The album is slated to drop on Sept. 26 with “Loves Shoes” as its lead title track.

The seven, young high-flying K-pop idols of GOT7 also shared a little new music teaser, posting an “album spoiler” clip for their upcoming “Flight Log: Turbulence” album.

The footage revealed short audio snippets of all of the tracks slated to appear on the group’s new album, including its lead single “Hard Carry.” The album is scheduled to be released in full on Tuesday.

Dressed in blue shorty shorts and yellow suspenders, Dia posted footage of the group’s recent street performance in the popular Seoul night-life district of Hongdae.

The ladies performed and showed off their new choreography from the group’s recently released EP “Spell,” including its electro-pop title single “Mr. Potter.”

The rookie idols of Map6 also joined yesterday’s V app line-up, tuning in from inside the group’s van to shoot the breeze with fans and respond to viewer’s comments and questions from their exercise routines to family.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
