K-pop group Infinite’s sixth mini album showcase, “INFINITE ONLY,” was broadcasted on the V app Monday.

The seven-member group successfully showed off a softer side to their music, opening the stage with the song, “One Day,” a ballad that is different from their previous performances that involved powerful dance choreography.

Hoya, the song’s writer, was surprised when the audience sang along. “It feels so unreal as you guys are singing along to the song. The memories of making the song pop up in my head now,” Hoya said.

It has been more than a year since the group’s members came together to release new music. They had each been involved in various activities such as starring in dramas, musicals and going on trips.

“I succeeded in losing 10 kilograms (during the period)!” Sungjong said.

The group also talked about the process of making the album. “We practiced as much as we could whenever we had time,” Woo-hyun said. “Before we had to practice over 10 hours, but now we produce harmony with just a couple of hours of practice.”

The main vocalist also added, “I’ve gotten better in (dance) choreography so ‘Dance god’ Hoya is a bit nervous that I will catch up to him.”

Singer-actor Lim Chang-jung and actors Oh Ji-ho and Lee Ju-seung appeared live on the V app Monday to promote the new movie “Duel: Final Round.”

K-pop group La Boum also appeared to encourage the actors and show their support for the film.

Lim, not a part of the movie’s cast, came on live as a guest to cheer on his friend Oh. He recently released a new album “I’M” and its title song has topped several music charts.

“I came here to promote my new album,” he said jokingly. He suggested they play rock-paper-scissors to choose a person to promote the movie and album.

Lee won the game and said, “You guys already know it, but please listen more to Chang-jung’s song. I heard the new movie starring him is to be released as well so look forward to it.”

“It would be nice if you two come on my movie as cameos,” Lim added.

Around the end of the show, Lim did not forget to praise the movie “Duel: Final Round.” He said, “The actors have put in a lot of effort into the movie, so please go to the theaters to watch it.”

The new film, which also stars actors Lee Jung-jin and Son Eun-seo, is expected to hit theaters Thursday.

Female soloist Kwon Jina’s music video for the song “The End” from her EP “Funny Night” was uploaded on Naver’s V app Monday.

She had first appeared in SBS’ audition program “K-POP Star Season 3” in 2013. She emphasized how much she had practiced -- over thousands of times -- for her first regular EP release. She is popular for her mellow voice.
