Moonbyul accepted defeat in a Mamamoo subunit clash broadcast via Naver’s V app at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, an hour after the group split into two groups and released “Angel” and “Dab dab” at noon.

Mamamoo broke into two subunits -- Solar and Wheein vs. Moonbyul and Hwasa -- to vie for an edge over the others.

The show Wednesday featured each member of the subunits Solar and Moonbyul. When they asked fans who had the edge, fans, as well as local charts, showed that “Angel” was winning over “Dab dab.”

A bit depressed, Moonbyul said, “I’m out of this show.”

Soon, Solar mumbled, leading to Moonbyul to respond, “You are so happy that you are mumbling.”

“Well, anyone knew this would happen,” Solar answered. “It’s not a special occasion to make me happy.”

During the show, Solar and Moonbyul said dividing themselves into two in another way could have drawn “other intriguing results.”

Mamamoo appeared to be at a makeup salon. Wheein joined the show in the meantime. Solar and Wheein celebrated the success of "Angel" with hilarious moves.

The end of the live show featured Hwasa, who was almost done with her makeup.

The songs premiered at the quartet’s “Moosical” concert on Aug. 13 in Seoul, Korea. The girl group’s agency RBW Entertainment decided to release the two tracks Wednesday at noon exclusively for the first-ever concert in their career.
