Actress Park Bo-young showed a down-to-earth homey side with no make-up and oversize glasses on her V show on Tuesday, which she titled “Tuesday Blues.”

“Last time on V I drew my eyebrows too thick -- now I’ve decided to just wear out my bangs,” said Park, her long hair casually tousled over her nondescript black T-shirt.

Park spent about 30 minutes on the live show talking about the kind of person she wants to become for others. She chatted with the fans about the gap between the social goals and spiritual goals.

The discussion on personal aspirations was triggered by a letter from a 10-year-old fan.

In the letter, the young boy recounted the time he had the chance to meet Park in person.

He wrote, “When you asked what my dream was the last time we met, I couldn’t give you a prompt answer.”

“That embarrassed me. Next time I’ll tell you what I want to become when I grow up.”

Hoping her youthful fan was watching the V show, Park said, “It’s okay to not know what you want. But please think about not the job you want to have but the kind of person you want to mature into.”

“It’s all right to dream of becoming a big-time somebody, but please I hope all my fans would have the moment to take a step back, recalibrate what their passions are, and set a goal for the kind of person you want to become other than the social title,” Park said.

She herself personally aspired to become a person who can cast positive influence on her surroundings.

HyunA promoted her new program “HyunA X19” via V app on Tuesday.

The reality TV show featuring HyunA premiered on Aug. 16 on channel MBC every1. It airs weekly on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.

HyunA expressed gratitude and joy for the premiere program’s achieving of 0.5 percent viewership rate.

NCT’s septet sub-unit NCT Dream teased a second clip for its upcoming song “Bubble Gum” on V, Tuesday, following the first teaser video revealed the day before.

In the second teaser clip the sub-unit, specifically comprised of teenage boys whose average age is 15, dance dressed in Snoopy themed clothes and bobble on pink gym balls.

The Sino-Korean group will launch its first single on Thursday at 6 p.m. via Channel Mnet’s live music program “M! Countdown.”

EXID’s Hyerin celebrated her birthday with her fans on V app on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

Hyerin turned 23 this year.

Her groupmates offered to get her birthday presents, to which Hyerin requested for a new phone and a car.

Because in Korean language car and tea are homonyms, the members said they would get Hyerin some green tea.

Members took turns in front of the camera to give loving messages and sing a parody of the Happy Birthday song.
