Gugudan
Gugudan, a K-pop girl group composed of nine members, hosted a game on Naver’s V app Thursday. They divided themselves into three teams and played games before making “bingsoo,” a Korean shaved ice dessert with toppings such as fruit, condensed milk, and red beans. The winning team got to choose and use the toppings for the bingsoo first.

The winning team members used most of the red beans before passing them to the other two teams. They also put roasted grain powder and brownies on top of the shaved ice.
To make the game more interesting, the leaders of each team played rock, paper, scissors. The leader who lost had to have a member from another team put wasabi on top of the shaved ice before they ate a spoonful of it. To find out who ended up with a mouthful of bingsoo and wasabi and what her reaction was like, check the V app video.
Up10Tion
Up10Tion, a K-pop boy group, released Thursday a teaser for its music video, “Tonight” on V app. The clip begins with one member running away with a big teddy bear and the rest of the members chasing after him. The 26-second clip exudes a summer vacation atmosphere, as members jump into a swimming pool, float on boats, and splash each other. The inflatables, the members’ clothes, and the setting are all in bright colors and create a vibrant summer scene.
9 Muses A
9 Muses A, a K-pop girl group, released on Naver V app on Thursday their “Lip 2 Lip” music video.
Adhering to the title of the song, the music video accentuates lips and lip colors. For instance, the members hold a stuffed lip-shape doll, sit on a couch that looks like a pair of lips, and wear pink and red attire in front of similar color backdrops. Such unique props add to the distinctiveness of the music video.
I.O.I
I.O.I., a K-pop girl group, announced on Naver V app on Thursday that their next album would be released on Tuesday. The group announced it had a “special event” coming up and that more details about it would be posted on its fan page. “We had initially planned to release a digital single instead of an album. But many of our fans were hoping for an album, so we catered to our fans’ desires by releasing an album.” All members emphasized that their upcoming album was vastly different from their previous one.
