Rookie boy band NCT 127 on Thursday kicked off their first autograph session since their debut.

The boy band said they had just returned from a performance at a music show program and were preparing for the upcoming autograph session later on Thursday.

NCT 127 members decided to split up into groups and carried out a role play, where one group acted like a fan waiting for an autograph, and the other acted as an NCT 127 member. The skit was designed to help some members new to such an event figure out what they should do and how to cope with various situations they might face during the session.

Some of NCT 127 members debuted earlier in April as NCT U, brother unit of NCT 127, while some other members Yuta, Haechan and Winwin debuted a week ago.

Before the show was online, members Kim Jin-woo and Kang Seung-yoon were given 10,000 won ($8.80) to buy ingredients.

The two’s bandmate Lee Seung-hoon not only hosted the cooking show, but also rated their dishes alongside two other judges.

Lee said in the beginning that the criteria for good dishes were how appealing they looked, how creative they were, and how delicious they tasted. But in the middle of the show Lee added a twist, by having the two switch ingredients.

Kim made a burger set with banana-flavored milk, while Kang made dumpling soup. Kim won the competition.

Joo started the live broadcast while he was at a photo shoot for suits brand GGIO II. He added he has recently been working on a series of photoshoots, including one for outdoor brand Mountia in Queenstown, New Zealand, Tuesday and another for casualwear brand Mind Bridge in Seoul Wednesday.

It was lunchtime while he was doing a live show, but he said he hadn’t eaten yet.

Speaking of his experience during the New Zealand shoot, Joo regretted not being able to go to Fergburger, a popular restaurant in Queenstown.

Joo in the later half said that he was deeply impressed by the cinematography of American action movie “Hardcore Henry.”
