Movie Talk - “Familyhood (Good Bye Single)”

Veteran Korean actors including Kim Hye-su and Ma Dong-seok appeared on V app’s live Movie Talk on Thursday to promote their new movie, “Familyhood (Goodbye Single).”

Other cast members also include Lee Seong-min and Kim Mi-young.

The Kim Hye-su started the live show saying “Thank you for appreciating the movie.”

Ma appeared to be very nervous.

Kim did not stop complimenting Ma, who starred as her best friend and her stylist in the movie, calling him a lovely man.

“He prepared the English part of the script himself. He also had so many great ideas for the movie.” Kim added to help out Ma when he struggled to answer a question.

Kim plays the role of a star actress who decides to become a mother to gain “her person,” who would always support her. Kim Hyun-soo, 16-year-old female actress, was casted as a teenager, Danji, who becomes part of the super star’s pregnancy scandal.

Lee Seong-min played the role of a news anchor.

The movie was released on Thursday.


Park Hae-Jin


Actor Park Hae-Jin’ s V app clip appeared on Thursday’s line up. It showed him taking photo shoots.

“I just came back from Taiwan. My back hurts a bit but I thought it would be better for me to move around than to be at home. I worked out in the morning and am at a photo studio now.”

The clip showed him posing for camera in different outfits.



San E & Raina



Korean rapper San E and Raina, a vocal from girl group Orange Caramel popped up on V app channel Friday to sing their new song live.

The new song, “Dalgona,” was released on June 17.

San E started the video giving a ring to Raina. “We are an official couple in summer, so I prepared a set of couple rings for us.”

The rapper released some hit songs including “Story of Someone I Know” and “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness” featuring Raina in summers of 2013 and 2014 that led them to win the title of summer couple.

The male rapper suggested switching their parts, he to sing Raina’s tunes and her to rap.

“It’s hard, I can’t rap,” the female vocal said after going over the verses of the rap.

San E tried singing and gave up saying, “I can’t sing. Let’s do what we do. You rap. I’ll sing.”

They made a nice collaboration with their recently released song and thanked the fans for watching the show.


Apink


Girl group Apink appeared on V app live Friday with Chorong and Bomi wearing aprons for a cooking session.

“Many of you might have thought we are having dinner on the show. Instead we are going to cook,” said Chorong.

Bomi explained. “We will be cooking something healthy!”

Chorong held out a placard that read “Salad with fried eels,” and Bomi revealed another menu, Samgyetang or ginseng chicken soup, Korea’s traditional soup, with octopus and abalone.

The two started showing the ingredients and made themselves busy with cooking.
