[V Report Plus] Gugudan hails V App viewers on first appearance

Rookie K-pop group Gugudan made its first appearance on Monday on the V app, airing a live broadcast half an hour before the release of its new album “Act.1 The Little Mermaid.”

The group received some 1.2 million “likes” from global viewers as soon as they launched the broadcast. As of 3pm on Tuesday, this had risen to 2.7 million “likes.”

The group’s nine members, including Sejeong and Mina, who are both from the project girl group I.O.I, took turns introducing themselves. They all said that they were very nervous.

Later, they revealed pictures of their members and photo cards that are featured inside their debut album “Act.1 The Little Mermaid,” which was released Monday at midnight.

Gugudan is the first girl group under the entertainment agency Jellyfish Entertainment.
