K-pop band Beast broadcasted live on the V app on Monday, letting fans in on the filming of the music video for its track “Butterfly.”

The video was filmed in a romantic forest setting, with flowers and greenery. Individual shoots were also done for members under different concepts.

“Hi fans! We’re shooting in double speed. The music video will be special and interesting,” Yoon Doo-joon said.

“Today the weather is quite hot and I’m worried about other members who will shoot later in the afternoon. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to it,” he added.

Then the scene shifted to Son Dong-woon, the youngest member of the group.

He said, “I have been shooting since 1 p.m. and I believe I shine the best at this hour. So I guess someone assigned me this time slot.”

“To be honest, it’s really hot now. But hey, I’m not mad at you guys, I just can’t open my eyes straight because of the sun,” he said later on.

After finishing with their individual parts, the band’s five members gathered.

When Lee Gi-Kwang pinned a butterfly on his shirt, one of the band’s member asked, “Is it a real butterfly?”

“It’s a stuffed butterfly, that’s why it’s heavy,” answered Lee.

Yang Yo-seob pointed to Lee, saying, “He wore the butterfly like a carnation and stood in a weird pose. He makes me laugh.”

At the end of the broadcast, the group said that they would meet fans soon via another behind-the-scenes video for “Ribbon.”

Apink’s Namjoo

Namjoo, a member of girl group Apink, also appeared live on the V app on Monday.

“Hello, everyone! I told you I would be back, and I’m on V live now to invite you to the filming site of ‘Detective Alice,’” she said cheerfully.

As her costar Song Seung-hyun appeared, she pointed to the beverage in her hands, explaining to the viewers that his fans had sent a coffee delivery van for the crew.

“Thanks to Seung-hyun’s fans. I’m having a chocolate latte. I like to eat. I am always eating.”

While enjoying the latte, she turned the topic back to the film.

“Here are the staff of ‘Detective Alice.’ They work really hard. The atmosphere is good too,” she added.

“But I guess I have to be quiet now since they’re about to shoot,” she said.

During the broadcast, Namjoo also tried to interact with fans by answering questions posed by them on the app. When asked about her favorite song, she answered by singing it and presenting a part of its dance choreography.

“I really need to go back. Thank you and see you next time,” she wrapped up by saying.
