Girl group Twice popped up on Sunday’s live V app while they were hosting an autograph event to celebrate the upcoming birthday of Tzuyu, the youngest member of the band.

Tzuyu’s birthday is Tuesday.

“We are meeting fans today in the autograph event and we decided to celebrate Tzuyu’s birthday early with the fans (present here),” Jihyo said, starting the live video.

“Sing (‘Happy Birthday’) with us,” she asked the viewers, as she carried a cake with lit candles to the stage.

“Kiss me, (on my cheek),” Tzuyu requested, though she soon regretted it after her bandmates nearly smothered.

“I’m so happy,” she added, while they gave friendly pecks.


EXID

Girl group EXID showed up the V app live Sunday to thank fans after they won on SBS music program “Inkigayo” with their new EP “L. I. E.,” which was released June 1.

The five member group excitedly came on V soon after their fan autograph meeting.

One fan commented, “Hani’s really pretty,” to which Jeong-hwa replied, “She was born pretty, weren’t you?”

“People complimented Hyerin on starring in MBC’s ‘King of Mask Singer,’” said Solgi, making Hyerin stand up and dance the moves of the song she sang in the show.

They excitedly chatted, and LE said she would upload a collection of Hani’s funny dance videos that she has been gathering.

The group made their debut in 2012 with the album “Holla” and rose to stardom with “Up & Down” released in August, 2014.


Star Project

A new V app channel opened on Sunday by a joint group called “Star Project,” in which over eight entertainment companies are collaborating to introduce new male and female actors.

The joint companies include Namoo Actors, Starcamp 202, Starhouse Entertainment, Sidus HQ, SM C&C and J wide company.
Starting from June, the project is expected to run in seasons, introducing eight actors, one from each entertainment management agency.

The rookie actors are scheduled to participate in various activities, such as holding flea markets and doing volunteer work, adding to their regular plans to communicate with fans through different contents and shows.
