Lim Do-hyeok from Mnet’s popular audition program, Superstar K, will hold his first solo concert on June 11, which was live broadcast through Naver’s V app.

The rookie K-pop singer, who has been garnering much attention nowadays for his variety show appearances as well as musical talents, made his debut Saturday with a mini concert at Formtecworks Hall in Hongdae, Seoul, and said hello to his fans via the app.

“I personally enjoy communicating with small audiences when performing on the stage like in here,” Lim said to the audience at the concert hall. “We have prepared a lot for this and we also have many special guests with us, so please enjoy.”


During the concert, Jeon Seung-geun made a special guest appearance onstage, who participated in the soundtrack of Mirror of the Witch, JTBC’s television series starring Yoon Shi-yoon, Kim Sae-ron, Lee Sung-jae, Yum Jung-ah and Kwak Si-yang.

In the meanwhile, Lim is preparing to release his second album, while continuing to appear on variety shows like “The God of Music 2.”


MCM fashion show

A collection fashion show by MCM ? the German-founded label now owned by South Korea’s Sungjoo Group -- was unveiled live via V app Saturday, in honor of its 40th anniversary.

Created in collaboration with designer Christopher Raeburn, the show set out to inspire a new generation and lead the digital innovation in design industry.


CL of 2NE1 was in attendance, as were Lucky Blue Smith and his sister, Pyper America Smith, in the front row.

Top international editors and models were also shown through the V app watching the show from around the circular stage.


NCT

SM Entertainment’s newest boy band NCT -- short for Neo Culture Technology -- unveiled a preview of “NCT Life in Seoul EP07” via the V app Saturday, revealing details about what would appear on episode 7.


The band’s members are going to compete with each other to win their favorite dish, bulgogi -- a Korean-style marinated beef -- by doing numerous activities and games throughout their trip to Seoul.
