Kicking off the week on Naver V app’s Monday lineup was Luna of f(x), giving fans a little inside scoop about her solo debut EP, “Free Somebody,” which officially dropped Tuesday.

“Finally I will be releasing a solo album for the first time since debuting seven years ago,” Luna gushed while in a car listening to the first song that she wrote, “I Wish.”

“I stayed up all night for about a week writing that song, and this time around I have also written another single that will be on my new album,” she said, adding her excitement of finally becoming a solo artist.

Referring to the album as perfect for summer listening, the f(x) star revealed that of the album’s six tracks, she wrote two of the singles herself -- “I Wish” and “My Medicine.”

“There is actually one song in particular that I really want fans to listen to, and it’s ‘My Medicine,’” says Luna. “This is a song that I had written as a gift to my mother for always being there for me and always lending her help in my time of need.”

Rocker Park Ga-ram of the indie punk band Dickpunks also joined Monday’s V app lineup, taking viewers outside the music studio and into the kitchen, wanting to jump on the bandwagon of the country’s cooking show craze and teach fans his easy take on pasta carbonara.

“Welcome to Park Ga-ram cooking school,” said the rocker. “Now, while many of you may think making pasta may be difficult, I want to show you some simple steps on how to make great carbonara. And just like a real cooking show, I will try my best to give detailed steps on how I’m cooking my pasta.”

Park revealed that his cameraman for the day was actually a chef at a local restaurant cafe and is the man who taught him the pasta making techniques he was revealing on this episode.

After finishing off his restaurant-quality pasta dish, the rocker ended his broadcast on a musical note, serenading viewers with a quick song on the piano.

Also on Monday’s V app lineup was Boys Republic idol Su-woong broadcasting a solo episode asking young fans to share their worries and struggles in hopes that he may be able to provide them with sound advice based on his personal experiences.

The popular ladies of EXID also posted a short video clip giving fans added hints about their upcoming return to the spotlight, saying that they would, “soon be returning to the most recent spot they met with fans in Seoul.”
