K-pop boy band EXO made a surprise appearance on Naver’s V app channel “The Viewable S.M.” on Thursday.

Member Sehun showed up at the beginning, but left soon to film for his movie.

“I want to stay here longer, but I have to leave to shoot for my movie. I hope you guys enjoy the show and keep supporting everyone here!” said Sehun.

His bandmates Chanyeol and Chen continued the show.

Chanyeol first talked about his favorite song, “Unconditional Kismet” by Yoo Young-jin, expressing how greatly the song had influenced him.

“Honestly, when I first joined the company after being cast, I thought I would be a member of a band in S.M. So when I listened to his song at that time, I was totally amazed by how well he could sing.

“I started being more serious about my dream of being a singer,” he added.

Correspondingly, Chen also revealed one of his favorite songs, “Please, Don’t Go,” by SHINee.

“Starting my career as an idol at first, I myself had a prejudice against idols. This song had helped break me away from that,” he explained

In the end, the two wrapped up saying “We’re very happy to be in such a great show. Even better S.M. artists will be on the show. Please look forward to it!”

iKON

YG Entertainment’s hip-hop boy band iKON also hosted an episode of “Showtime Days in Hong Kong” via V.

The boys started the broadcast from Incheon International Airport, expressing their excitement to hold their first Asia tour concert.

“We‘re going to Hong Kong for our concert!” said Bobby.

He then greeted his bandmates, stopping to point out, “Yunheong, you look so cool today.”

“Please pay attention to Donghyuk. His concept is a purple potato,” Yunhyeong replied, turning the compliment with a satisfied look on his face.

“What? Sweet potato? Don’t tease him!” Bobby joked, while Donghyuk smiled, seemingly indifferent to their conversation.

After arriving in Hong Kong, iKON had a short interview. A crowd of local fans gathered at Langham Place Event Hall and reacted strongly to every question they answered.

The concert also ended a big success. “Although we didn’t have much free time this time, I’m glad we got to meet local fans,” a member from iKON said, as they revealed their thoughts and shared their next tour destination of Chengdu, China.

Twice

Girl group Twice also went live on V on Thursday, uploading series of clips in real time to let fans in on their campus festival schedule at Inha University.

“We’re here at Inha University!” the girls first greeted the fans cheerfully.

“We will be on the stage soon, I feel like it has been a long time since I last appeared on V. I’m excited!” said Jeongyeon.

Sana expressed her gratitude toward the fans, saying, “Our new song won first place, we were able to make it with you guys’ support. Thank you so much.”

On the stage, Twice performed several songs, including their new song “Cheer Up.” The atmosphere heightened when their signature song “Like OOH-AHH” was presented.

Besides the performance, the girls also tried to interact with the audience.

“Are you guys all familiar with the songs that we sang just now?”

“Like OOH-AHH!” fans screamed and sang along parts of the song out loud.

In the end, they wished for the students to enjoy the festival and said good-bye.
