Thirteen-member boy group Seventeen celebrated their first ever win in a Korean music TV show before Naver V app viewers Wednesday at midnight.

Seventeen clinched the trophy at MBC Music’s “Show! Champion” on Wednesday with “Pretty U,” title track of their first album “First ‘Love and Letter’” released on April 25. It was their first win since debut a year ago.

All 13 members maintained a vibrant atmosphere throughout the show. Each member took turns holding the trophy, which many members found heavy, and expressed gratitude to staff and fans who supported them.

The playful atmosphere was in contrast to their immediate response after their victory was announced. They burst into tears while delivering a victory speech.

Members said they are heading out for beef barbecue dinner treat by chief executive of Pledis Entertainment.
