Rookie eight-member girl group Oh My Girl held a live broadcast on Naver V app on their way from Myeong-dong to Hongdae for surprise outdoor concerts -- the first of its kind -- on Saturday.

“We were so nervous onstage in Myeong-dong” the members said. “It was a fresh experience to promote our songs ourselves, but fans cheered us on and we were happy to impress them.”

They were heading to Hongdae for a 4 p.m. outdoor concert on the street after performing at 1 p.m. in Myeong-dong. Both the locations are the busiest streets in Seoul with many visitors.

“It is nice to have such an opportunity to meet fans,” Jiho said. “Such an opportunity doesn’t come often.”

In between the live broadcast in their van, rapper Mimi showcased a short verse for fans.

The girl group made its debut in 2015 and has released three mini albums, including “Pink Ocean” released on Monday. Their third mini album’s title song is “Liar Liar.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
