Girl group T-ara, who is in Vietnam for a special event sponsored by Naver’s V app, appeared in broadcasts from the country several times on Saturday.

Jiyeon and Soyeon first appeared on the app from Ao Dai Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, a museum dedicated to “ao dai,” a Vietnamese national costume worn by women. The two were greeted by four Vietnamese fans, who accompanied them for the day. They first walked around the scenic garden surrounding the museum while getting acquainted and exchanging gifts.

Inside the museum, Jiyeon and Soyeon were very impressed with the elegance and beauty of ao dai.

“My favorite is the pure white ao dai,” Soyeon said after looking around at different designs of the costume.

After strolling around the museum for a while, they sat with the fans at a gazebo overlooking the lake to stay away from heat.

They watched a fashion show showcasing ao dai. After watching the show, Jiyeon, Soyeon and the fans tried on different ao dai. Jiyeon looked dazzling in a red ao dai, while Soyeon looked pretty in a blue patterned dress. They both said that they loved trying on the clothes and Soyeon said she felt like she was a Vietnamese woman.


All six T-ara members also appeared on the app for a short talk-show session, in which the members were given a question and had to answer by picking one of the members. The members chose Hyomin and Qri as the people who eat the most. Hyomin was chosen as the person who cooks well, while Qri was selected as the person who dresses up nicely most of the time.

Meanwhile, Eric Nam went live on the V app from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, while he was doing a sound check for an upcoming performance in Dubai. He practiced his song “Heaven’s Door” on the broadcast.

At 5 p.m., singer Moon Hee-joon appeared on the V app to talk about his upcoming 20th anniversary concert. During the show, he revealed the set list for the concert, which included hit tracks such as “T.N.T” and “Longing for You.”
