Singer and TV personality Eric Nam caught up with fans real-time on Naver’s V app Wednesday.

He called girl group Red Velvet’s Wendy to ask her opinion about his upcoming mini album. The duo recently released a duet project “Spring Love,” and seem to have become friends.

As soon as she received the call, the pair played a speed quiz regarding his upcoming album and Wendy showed her support by shouting out enthusiastic answers.

Despite her hectic schedule, she listened to a 30-second preview of his new single with delight.

Although he didn’t reveal the new track to his viewers, Wendy gave hints on the track with compliments.

“Your voice, the piano, and the beat flows together really well,” said Wendy. Nam was pleased with her reaction.

“Thank you for your time and see you soon,” said Nam as he hung up to wrap-up his brief broadcast.
