Suga and J-Hope of BTS appeared on Naver’s V App on Wednesday in two separate videos. The first featured an apology for taking so long to think up a concept for their V segment.

“We thought so hard about what we should do,” Suga said, added that he felt that other BTS videos like Rap Monster and Jungkook’s “1 Minute English” had impact. In the end, he said, they decided to just go with an episode without much of a concept.

For the first episode of their segment “Hwagae Market,” J-Hope and Suga were tasked with holding back their laughter while watching funny videos of BTS cuts. There were 5 levels of difficulty, but it did not take very long for the two boys to burst out laughing. They earned themselves an impressive 2.7 million hearts for their apology and another 4.5 million hearts for the episode itself.

B.A.P turned up on V for their special fan event “Vring U,” in which lucky random winners receive phone calls from B.A.P. Though they had originally intended to surprise fans, no one was really surprised as those who received calls had all been watching the V app broadcast.

B.A.P members talked with their fans and encouraged them to do well in school. Sometimes they played pranks by pretending to be other members. This event earned them 1.35 million hearts.

Girl group Brown Eyed Girls also celebrated their 10th anniversary on the V App. In their broadcast, they started off by talking about what they have been up to lately. Jea is currently a mentor on the Mnet program “Produce 101” and Gain is preparing to launch a solo album. Then they had a mini awards ceremony in which members voted for winners based on their ten years together.

The categories included awards for being the best at pulling off the Brown Eyed Girls’ various concepts (Gain), the person whose talents have developed the most (Jea), the person who always acts as the mediator (Jea) and the person who cries the most (Jea and Gain).

Yura of Girl’s Day had a broadcast on the V App in which fans could watch her make a midnight snack. She made spicy chicken stew from scratch and provided viewers with tips on how to make the stew flavorful but not too greasy.

Eric of Shinhwa also had his first V broadcast on Wednesday. He walked around the neighborhood near a dance practice studio where

Shinhwa members had met to practice their concert choreography. He showed fans around the place and other Shinhwa members appeared occasionally in the broadcast.
