Turbo debuted as the duo of Kim Jong-kook and Kim Jung-nam in 1995 and immediately rose to stardom with their dance tracks. In 1997, Kim Jung-nam left the group and Korean-American Mikey took his spot, rolling out popular songs like “Reminiscence” and “Forbidden Games.” However due to contract issues, Turbo disbanded in 2000. Kim Jong-kook pursued a solo career as a singer immediately, but faced setbacks until 2003, when he released the album “Evolution,” featuring mega popular ballad track “One Man.” The song catapulted him back into the limelight. Since then, he has released many popular tracks and also regularly starred in hit variety shows.

Last year, all three previous members reunited for the first time in 15 years and released an album together in December.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
