SHINee‘s Taemin was one of the most-watched stars on the V app when he made a surprise appearance Wednesday. He spoke with fans ahead of the release of his next solo album.

Although he said he “couldn’t give any spoilers” to his songs, he did say, “I‘ve prepared so much for you. You might not be able to sleep for a few days. Get more data on your phones. I’ve really got a lot coming out.”

At the continued request of his fans, Taemin showed off a little wave dance move, saying it was part of the performance for his upcoming album. All summed, Taemin brought in over 3 million hearts.

4minute became baristas for a day at the academy of coffee chain Tom N Toms in Apgujeong-dong, and broadcast their coffee-making class through V.

The girls split up into two teams -- Hyuna, Jiyoon and Sohyun against Jihyun and Gayoon -- to make cafe lattes and Americanos, the most basic coffee drinks for baristas.

In addition to making the drinks, the members showed interest in the coffee itself, asking questions like “Why do these have different aromas even though they were made with the same beans?” and “Why are the shots different sizes even though they were pressed at the same time?”

They closed out the session by showing off a collaboration thermos between 4minute and Tom N Toms.

The girls of Twice also broadcast on the V app Wednesday. Member Mina turned on the app from a van in the parking lot of game company Nexen. She said she was there to “say ‘hi,’” and talked a little about how she spent a few hours the night before playing a game.

“Some people tried to chat with me, but I was on a Japanese computer so I couldn‘t type in Korean,” she said, promising to borrow a Korean keyboard next time.

Twice’s Momo also turned on the app from her practice studio, kicking off with a powerful dance performance and spending time talking with her fans. She asked them for advice on various things including her hair color. The fans gave her a variety of answers including brown, mint, and purple.

VIXX gave a sneak peek of their mini bowling competition, in which the N and Hyuk team struggled to keep up with the Ravi and Ken team. Fans laughed throughout the short clip, posting comments such as: “The teams aren‘t fair!”

There were also two birthdays on the V app Wednesday: BTS’ J-hope, who brought in over 6 million hearts, and Dogyeom and Vernon of Seventeen, who brought in over 1.5 million hearts. Meanwhile, girl group Rania turned on the V app to hang out with fans at a group dinner, where they had fun eating, dancing and playing darts.

Gfriend and Girl's Day's Yura took a moment to talk to fans from backstage at the Gaon Chart K-pop Awards.
