Veteran boy band Shinwha’s Kim Dong-wan went skiing for the holidays and left cryptic, yet hilarious messages for fans via V app.

He was on a ski lift during the whole broadcast and greeted his fans cheerfully. He yelled “Happy Lunar New Year,” making his voice echo through the ski resort.

His large ski goggles and turquoise mask somehow unintentionally added humor to the entire scene.

As he went up, he continued to greet his fans in various languages such as Japanese, Chinese and even Spanish. When he spoke Chinese, he worried about putting off his study of the language.

He then blurted out -- “I’m doing skiing!” -- which might have been grammatically unconventional, but was nevertheless a heartfelt comment that embodied his excitement.
