Boy band Block B made an appearance on V with a cooking show Tuesday. only six of the seven members showed up, as P.O. had another engagement.

They started off the show by singing a traditional song to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Korea. Then, Park Kyung told viewers that they would be making a Korean soup named tteokguk for their agency’s CEO.

As Jaehyo was the main chef for today, he kindly explained the basic recipe along with its most important ingredients.

In the middle of the show, they played a short game for some fun. One of the members brought six cups of sikhye, a Korean rice-based drink. There were five normal drinks in the cup, while one other had loads of salt in it. Each member took a cup, hoping theirs would not contain a salty surprise. B-bomb was the loser. His face turned white after tasting his drink.

Thirty minutes later, the meat that they had boiled for the soup was done, and Jaehyo started chopping the vegetables. Suddenly, Zico asked “Wait, you’re left-handed?” Jaehyo was stunned, yelling “You’ve known me for years!”

After completing the soup, they sprinkled some toppings onto it to make it look even more delicious. The six members carefully took it to their boss’ room, surprising him with the soup.

Even though the soup got all mixed up while it was carried to his room, he told the boys that it was quite tasty.

After he ate some of the soup, Park Kyung said “Since we put our best efforts into cooking such a wonderful soup, could we get a New Year’s allowance?” The CEO replied “I’ll send it to your bank accounts,” leaving the Block B members with a huge grin on their faces.

Sojin of Girl’s Day went live on V in Japan after a fan meeting earlier on in the day.

The group was having a company dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant, with the four gathered around the table gobbling up sushi and shrimp.

Sojin said “This is our favorite restaurant in Japan. They have all kinds of great dishes here.”

She turned the camera to shortly face each of the members, giving them a chance to say hello to the viewers. All of them wished their fans a happy Lunar New Year, winking and bowing at the camera.

Girl’s Day was gone for a few minutes, returning to V with more food on their table. Sojin described the cream pollack noodles and beef curry noodles to the viewers.

The four girls slurped down the noodles crazily, finishing off the food in a few minutes.

YGK+ model Hyoni also popped up on V, sending her best Lunar New Year wishes in LA.

Hyoni was accompanied by actress Kim Soy, and the two were apparently together in Los Angeles. The two waved hello to the viewers, dressed in beachwear, sunglasses and floppy hats.

Hyoni explained that they were at a nearby beach after filming a pictorial for a designer shoe brand called Suecomma Bonnie. Unfortunately, her appearance ended quite quickly as there were some technical problems.
