[V Report Plus] Jack Black to pop up on V

Actor Jack Black, who voices for the lead panda Po in “Kung Fu Panda 3,” will connect with global fans through the V app broadcast on Wednesday.

Black will arrive in Korea on Wednesday to promote the third installment of the popular animation. Immediately after his arrival, he will participate in the special movie talk hosted by portal Naver to chat about the film, answer fans’ questions and live-stream the red carpet event, which will take place at Time Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. The movie talk show will be broadcast on the V app at 6:30 p.m.

In “Kung Fu Panda 3,” Po reunites with his biological father (Bryan Cranston) and travels with him to a peaceful panda village. However, an evil ancient spirit called Kai (J.K. Simmons) appears, with a determination to take away the powers of all kung fu masters, including Po. Now Po has to find out a way to stop him.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” opens in theaters here on Jan. 28.
