Hallyu stars wished their fans an early Merry Christmas, or “Miri Merry Christmas” in Korean, on Dec. 23, a day prior to Christmas Eve.
TV drama “Yong-pal” actor Joo Won kicked off the day’s shows.
Joo Won said he doesn’t have any special plans for Christmas, but that since there will be carols, the day will surely feel good.
He granted three wishes from fans, which came written in red notes.
The first wish was for Joo Won to sing his musical song, the second a Christmas carol, and the third for him to make heart shapes with his hands for the fans.

The star then looked through a photo book made for him by some fans, who thoroughly compiled his past TV, movie and musical productions along with loving comments.
“An indispensable actor, looking back on Joo Won’s fierce 20s,” the first page of the photo book read.
His characters Gu Ma-jun from “King of Baking, Kim Tak-goo,” Hwang Tae-hee from “Ojakgyo Brothers,” Lee Kang-to from “Bridal Mask,” Han Gil-lo from “7th Grade Officers,” Park Si-won from “Good Doctor,” Cha Eugene from “Cantabile,” Kim Tae-hyun from the latest TV drama, “Yong Pal,” were included.
Joo won’s movie productions “S.I.U.,” “Don’t Click,” “Steal My Heart,” “Fashion King” and the latest release, “It’s Him,” were also included, along with musicals “Altar Boys,” “Singles,” “Grease,” “New Guys,” “Spring Awakening” and “Ghost.”
Joo Won said he would read the book from cover to cover at home and use it as an impetus for him return to his original mindset.
Joo Won will soon make public appearances at upcoming acting awards.
Meanwhile, actress Park Bo-young of TV drama “Oh My Ghostess” also wished an early Merry Christmas to her fans.
“I had my makeup done by a professional today. So I decided I had to do a V broadcast,” she said with a laugh.
Park said she would spend the Christmas day with her family.
She showed the viewers the gifts she received from Naver for her participation on V, including a mug, a “heart-attacker” award for melting the viewers with her cuteness and V-shaped sticky notes.

“You’re far too young to have such concerns. You have years ahead of you,” Park said, “I used to think of age 30 as a turning point, but now I think even the 30s arrive too quickly.”
Girl group Apink’s member Namjoo gave a sweet welcoming to Christmas by becoming a patissier for the day. She baked a Yule Log from scratch at a bakery cafe under the guidance of a professional baker.
For the hour-long broadcast she threw a bundle of good-natured jokes and entertained the viewers with exaggerated motions in whipping the cream and slicing the Yule Log.
