To celebrate the fifth anniversary of “Onstage” -- the weekly live showcase for indie musicians -- a special performance will take place in Seoul on Nov. 18-19.

The anniversary “Onstage” performance will be held on at 8 p.m. at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul. The show will be broadcasted live on the V app as well.

Indie rock band The Koxx and Paloalto will perform on Nov. 19, while Koh Sangji Band and Boohwal are included in the lineup on Nov. 20.

For five years, “Onstage,” hosted by Korea’s largest portal Naver, served as a platform for indie artists to showcase their music to the public. Every week, the show introduced new indie musicians, with the number of groups reaching 268.

According to Naver, the proceeds of the special performance will go toward indie musicians.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
