Model Joo Woo-jae returned to his V app fans for the continuation of his eighth chapter on Sunday, bidding farewell to yet another weekend.

Shooting footage in the comfort of his car, he answered many queries from his fans -- from the model’s upcoming projects, to his clothes and hairstyle.

“In a way my hair kind of looks like Ban Yong-joon from ‘Winter Sonata,’ don’t you think?” he asked while playing with his hair.

Since the end of Seoul Fashion Week, Joo said he now finds himself with some bit of free time, sharing that he recently spent a personal day heading out to the Paju outlet stores for the first time in about a year to do a little shopping.

He ended his broadcast serenading his fans with a little song, saying, “For the past couple of videos fans kept asking me to sing for them, so here we go.”


Ballad singer Joo also made a surprise appearance on Sunday’s V app, racking up more than 400,000 hearts in her near hourlong clip.

“I think this is the first time in five years that I have been able to greet and speak personally with my fans,” said Joo at the beginning of her broadcast inside a recording studio.

With a new hair color and bangs, the singer was excited by the idea that she could communicate with her fans, trying to acknowledge as many of the live comments and questions that she could. During the segment, Joo not only talked about her popular 2008 debut single, “Because of a Man,” she also shared some insights on her most recent single.

“For my upcoming single I wanted the lyrics to be more metaphorical than sad, trying to show my new outlook on life,” she said.


A few members from the idol band Boyfriend were also featured on Sunday’s broadcast. Filming at a restaurant, the members were seen feeding each other and answering fans’ curiosities about their musical endeavors.

However, aside from the idol stars’ side projects outside of Boyfriend, the member shared how they desperately hope to return to the music scene soon as a group.

“Every day we just say to ourselves, ‘Ah we really want to get back on stage’ ... just be a little more patient, we will be back soon,” said the members.


The members of GOT7 also went live and took fans behind the scenes to their waiting room and greeted fans in Korean, English and Thai, talking about their newest release.
