K-pop boy band BTS will host a special Halloween party on the V app on Thursday.

Seven members will get together with some fans -- who have been selected through a random draw -- for the special event, which will be broadcast on the app at 8 p.m. on Thursday.

During the party, the members will hold a Halloween costume contest with the participants.

BTS, racking up more than 970,000 fans on the app, is one of the most popular stars on V. They will return to the music scene soon by releasing “The Most Beautiful Moment, Part 2.” The exact date has yet to be determined.

Earlier in April, BTS released the EP “The Most Beautiful Moment, Part 1” and ranked No. 1 on local charts with the songs “I Need U” and “Dope.”

BTS is also planning to hold a concert titled “The Most Beautiful Moment on Stage” at Seoul’s SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium from Nov. 27-29.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
