Beast celebrated the sixth anniversary of its debut on Naver’s live-streaming app V on Thursday.

The six-member boy band started the show at 11:55 p.m. on Thursday, five minutes before the anniversary, which falls on Oct. 16.

During the show, they received a number of questions from their fans and answered them live.

When asked about the most difficult time, member Yoon Doo-Joon said, “Working in the entertainment industry is mentally hard and I worried a lot about my uncertain future.”

“But, the greatest comfort was my members,” he added.

Asked about his proudest moment, Yong Jun-hyung said, “I feel the proudest when I learn about our fans’ good deeds.” Beast and its fan clubs are well known in the Korean entertainment scene for their charity work.

For the same question, Yang Yo-seob said he feels proud when he gives a little money to his parents.

Wrapping up the show, Yong said, “We can celebrate the sixth anniversary because of our fans. We will work harder to make more good memories together.”

Since the boy band’s K-pop debut with title track “Bad Girl” in October 2009, it has gained huge popularity in Asian countries beyond South Korea, including in Thailand, Japan and China.

At 9 p.m. Infinite’s Sungkyu hosted a show alone, looking a bit tired.

“We are in the middle of having global fan meetings. The agency is forcing a hectic schedule,” he said, jokingly.

When asked about his concerns today, Sungkyu looked sad, saying, “I don’t have any time for hobbies, allergic coryza is torturing me and I don’t even have time to meet my family and friends,” adding, “It seems like I am in adolescence.”

Soon after he said, “But, since there are fans who like my songs and trust me, they are a great help to me.”

Infinite began its global fan meetings in early September, starting in Taiwan.

At 11 p.m., Wonder Girls member Sunmi hosted a live-streaming show without Yubin, who was busy participating in music competition program “Unpretty Rapstar.”

“From now on, I am going to introduce my hobbies on the show. What I am going to do today is cooking,” she said.

Sunmi said she would make a tiramisu cake. “I made it for Hyerim’s birthday and it was much easier than I thought.”

A little later, she successfully made a tiramisu cake and proudly showed it to her fans.

“(Hosting on live show) is entertaining because I feel like I share my time with fans,” she said.

A little later, Apink’s Nam-joo and Ha-young hosted a sports competition show to mark Sports Day, which falls on Oct. 15.

Their first game was to play darts and the loser had to call someone and play dumb.

During the show, Ha-young revealed, “Member Nam-joo does not participate in archery in sports competitions for celebrities because she doesn’t have enough arm strength.”
